About Jeff

I'm Jeff. I watch movies. A lot of movies. Probably too many movies.

It started when I was a kid. My dad had this old VHS collection — scratched tapes of Die Hard, The Godfather, Star Wars. I'd watch them on repeat until the tracking lines took over the screen. I didn't understand half of what I was watching but I knew it made me feel something.

Now I'm older. The VHS tapes are gone. But I still chase that feeling.

I watch everything. Nolan blockbusters on IMAX. Obscure Iranian dramas on streaming. Slasher films from the 80s that nobody remembers. I even watched The Room. Twice. It's art in its own way.

This blog is where I write about all of it.

Some posts are free. Some cost a few cents. I'm not trying to get rich — I just think if you're going to read 2000 words about why the docking scene in Interstellar makes me cry, it's worth something. Even if it's just a cent.

I don't use algorithms. I don't track you. I don't sell your data. This is just a guy with opinions and a keyboard.

If you disagree with something I wrote, good. Movies are better when you argue about them.

Thanks for stopping by. Grab some popcorn. Stay a while.
